Mother Goose Family Child Care

About Our Educators

  • Q. Why did you become an Educator?

While growing up in California, my father inspired me to become a teacher when I grew up! At a young age, I began working in various child care centers through our local parks department and discovered I loved working with children. I then enrolled in the Early Childhood Program at my local community college. I love teaching and making a difference in a child’s life.
  • Q. What's your favorite part about being an Educator?

Watching children get excited about a new task that they have mastered.
  • Q. Do you have any special experience parents should know about?

I have worked as a Program Director for the YMCA’s after school program! Additionally, I have worked as a teacher, co-teacher, and a "Family Friend "Neighbor Provider here in Montana.
  • Q. Anything else parents should know about you or your family?

I have been in the Early Childhood Education field for over 10 years and I am currently working on obtaining my Child Development Associate (CDA). I enjoy teaching and am very excited about my program.

About Our School

  • Q. What's your early childhood education philosophy?

I believe that all children are unique individuals, and need to be children. I believe they learn by exploring their world around them using all their senses.
  • Q. What's your school set-up like?

I have a warm, inviting atmosphere. I have five learning centers set up in my school: Home Living, Block Center, Writing / Library Center, Math / Discovery Center and Art. I use visuals and supports to teach Character Education (social skills). I provide both teacher-directed and child-directed activities.
  • Q. What snacks & meals do you provide?

I provide breakfast, lunch, and afternoon snack.
  • Q. Anything else parents should know?

I believe in open communication between families and myself.

About Our Parent Relationships

  • Q. What do you expect from me as a parent?

    Honesty and respect.
  • Q. Do you encourage visits from parents?
